Review: Two Evils by P.J. Tracy
Two Evils by P.J. Tracy
4/5
This is the first P.J. Tracy novel I've read, I received a copy for review and now I need to read the rest of the series and learn more about the great characters. Two Evils is the 6th book in the Monkeewrench series, but as I learnt you don't have to of read them all to enjoy this book, the writers make you invested in the characters from the beginning and gives you enough background to enjoy the book as a stand alone. The story starts and ends with action, it was highly addictive, i couldn't put it down and i didn't want it to end. The novel is a crime thriller full of intrigue with multiple crimes intersecting in a terrorist plot. I'm not usually a fan of thrillers about terrorism but I couldn't put it down.
As much as I loved the book, there were a lot of characters and it was hard to keep track of them all, which may be partly because I hadn't read the rest of the series. The characters were well thought out as individuals and in relation to the plot, I enjoyed the dialogue and relationships between the main characters it gave the book a lot of realism I feel some crime thrillers lack. In conclusion Two Evils is a captivating and enjoyable book full of surprises, a real page turner.
